Abstract

Válvula de mariposa perfeccionada, que comprende un cuerpo atravesado por un paso, un obturador o mariposa siendo montado giratorio en el citado paso alrededor de un eje ortogonal al eje del citado paso, con objeto de poder desplazarse entre una posición de cierre en la cual un forro fijado o formado en la periferia del disco del obturador tiene un contacto estanco llevado por el cuerpo y una posición de plena abertura aproximadamente perpendicular a la posición de cierre, siendo la superficie periférica del obturador y la superficie conjugada del asiento, superficies cónicas definidas por dos conos de revolución, mientras que el eje de rotación del obturador está, según el eje del paso, desviado al lado opuesto del vértice del cono que define la superficie del asiento con relación al plano medio del disco del obturador, caracterizado por el hecho de que para un valor determinado del ángulo en el vértice 2 "gamma" del cono que define el asiento de la válvula y para una posición determinadaC del eje de rotación de la mariposa en un sistema ortonormado "o x", "y", "z" uno de cuyos ejes se confunde con el eje del citado cono, se de define un plano de juntura de la mariposa de la válvula con su asiento, un par de puntos del cual para los cuales ángulo de desprendimiento mínimo es máximo, tienen por traza un punto Q situado en el plano (o x, z) del sistema cuyas coordenadas y el ángulo de desprendimiento están determinados por las relaciones aproximadas siguientes: ** formulas ** siendo C la distancia de la traza del eje de rotación de la mariposa respecto al centro O del sistema, siendo determinada la inclinación 0 de la mariposa sobre el eje del paso por la relación complemento del ángulo de cierre ** formula **.
