Abstract

Recipiente blindado de transporte y/o almacenamiento para sustancias radiactivas, en particular elementos combustibles irradiados de reactores nucleares, el cual comprende una envolvente, un fondo, una tapa blindada y un equipo de control de fugas, habiéndose hecho por colada la envolvente del recipiente y el fondo del recipiente en una sóla pieza a base de hierro fundido, en particular hierro fundido esferolítico, o acero fundido, y estando embutida en la envolvente del recipiente, por medio de una formación de collarín y pestaña, una tapa blindada que encaja con una pieza de ajuste en la abertura del recipiente, estando dispuestos además una junta debajo de la pestaña, un medio de junta en la pieza de ajuste y un medio de junta debajo del collarín, presentando también el equipo de control de fugas, unos taladros con elementos de control acoplados que desembocan en espacio de control formados entre los medios de junta, y presentando por último el espacio interior del recipiente y/o los espacios de control un gas de control, caracterizado porque los taladros están dispuestos en la tapa blindada, desembocando un taladro entre el medio de junta del collarín y el medio de junta de la pieza de ajuste, y desembocando otro taladro entre el medio de junta de la pieza de ajuste y la junta de la pestaña, y porque le junta de la pestaña presenta dos medios de junta dispuestos con un espacio intermedio y un taladro adicional está acoplado al espacio intermedio de los medios de junte de la pestaña.
