Abstract
Un conjunto de cubierta y llanta de rueda, caracterizado porque las zonas de aplicación de la cubierta a la llanta de rueda comprenden cada una una pestaña de retención de talón de cubierta, axialmente externa, un asiento de talón de cubierta, e inmediatamente adyacente al asiento de talón una región de tope que se proyecta radialmente hacia afuera del asiento de talón, y la cubierta comprende un par de talones que contienen cada uno un refuerzo de talón circunferencial, sustancialmente inextensible, y cada uno de los talones, cuando es considerado en sección transversal radial en la condición inflada en la llanta de rueda, tiene un tamaño eficaz tal, medido en la dirección radial interna del conjunto desde el centro del refuerzo, que el talón de cubierta hace contacto con el asiento de talón y se ve impedido de moverse hacia adentro por el tope, y un tamaño eficaz menor medido desde el centro del refuerzo anular en la dirección axial del conjunto, siendo el tamaño eficaz menor inferior a la diferencia de radios entre el refuerzo anular y la extremidad axial del tope, de tal manera que el talón de cubierta, al haber sido hecho girar de modo que el diámetro eficaz pequeño se extiende radialmente, puede ser hecho pasar hacia afuera sobre el tope hasta su asiento para el montaje de la cubierta.
