Abstract
Procedimiento para el tendido de un tubo submarino, por remolque sobre un fondo submarino por medio de una tracción ejercida en el sentido longitudinal por un elemento de tracción fijado en la cabeza del tubo, caracterizado por el hecho de que el esfuerzo de un cable de tracción se transmite al tubo por mediación de una cadena constituida por un órgano articulado, lastrado y que tiene un extremo unido al extremo del tubo, mientras el otro extremo esta mantenido a cierta distancia sobre el fondo, de modo que ninguna porción del cable de tracción descansa en el fondo, siendo tales el peso lineal y la longitud de la mencionada cadena que ésta puede transmitir el esfuerzo de tracción necesario para el arrastre del tubo, al mismo tiempo que permanece tangente al fondo marino en el punto de enlace entre la cadena y el tubo o en un punto situado por delante de dicho punto de enlace.
