Abstract
The invention relates to a relay contact spring with a flat characteristic. In cases in which the switching force exercised by the armature of a small relay is relatively small, but, on the other hand, a particularly high responsiveness, in conjunction with reliable switch operation, is required, a relay contact spring with a particularly flat characteristic is required. The invention is based on the object of specifying a simple measure by means of which a relay contact spring can be provided with a flat spring characteristic which also ensures that, after the contact has completed closing, a geometric lock securing the closure of the contact can be implemented even with a small exciter current. According to the invention this object is achieved by means of a cut-out, arranged in the region of the contact rivet and designed such that only a narrow frame remains there on the upper lateral web of which the point of application of the operating force P is located.
