Abstract

An interior light for motor vehicles as a switch member pivotably mounted on a transparent lamp bulb housing (1) with an actuating lever element (8) of the member projecting from the housing. The pivot axis of the switch member is formed by a socket body (6) which is integrally moulded with the switch lever (8) and which surrounds the base of the light bulb (7) and which is inserted, so as to be rotatable about the longitudinal axis, into internally projecting housing wall elements (2, 3).
