Abstract

Un método para preparar un sustrato estratificado para un dispositivo emisor de luz, que comprende al menos las siguientes etapas: (a) proporcionar un sustrato de vidrio (1) que tiene un índice de refracción, a 550 nm, entre 1,45 y 1,65, (b) aplicar como recubrimiento una capa de óxido metálico (2) sobre un lado del sustrato de vidrio, seleccionándose el óxido metálico del grupo que consiste en TiO2, Al2O3, ZrO2, Nb2O5, HfO2, Ta2O5, WO3, Ga2O3, In2O3 y SnO2 y mezclas de los mismos, (c) aplicar como recubrimiento una frita de vidrio (3) que tiene un índice de refracción, a 550 nm, de al menos 1,7 sobre dicha capa de óxido metálico (2), comprendiendo dicha frita de vidrio al menos 30% en peso de Bi2O3, (d) calentar el sustrato de vidrio recubierto resultante a una temperatura por encima de la temperatura de Littleton de la frita de vidrio y comprendida entre 530ºC y 620ºC, haciendo de este modo reaccionar el óxido metálico con la frita de vidrio de fusión y formar una capa de esmalte de alto índice (4) con una pluralidad de huecos esféricos (5) incrustados en la sección inferior de la capa de esmalte cerca de la interfase con el sustrato de vidrio.
