Abstract
Un método de recuperar substancias colorantes y saborizantes y/o aceites esenciales de licores acuosos caracterizado porque son obtenidos de la cáscara de frutas cítricas mediante un tratamiento mecánico, por el cual el pH del licor de cáscara se ajusta a un máximo de 5,5 y preferiblemente a no menos de 2, el licor se calienta a una temperatura que oscila entre 35º y punto de ebullición, el producto de consistencia pastosa así formado queda separado como una capa superior se retira del licor4 acuoso y, si se desea, el aceite esencia contenido en tal producto puede separarse del resto del mismo.
