200 Kg de rechazos procedentes del compostaje aerobio de material vegetal mezclado con cintas de rafia de polipropileno, inoculado con microorganismos fermentadores para acelerar el proceso, se trituran en cortadora de cuchillas rotatorias para obtener fragmentos de 8-10 cm y se transportan neumáticamente a un silo ciclónico, recogiendo 38 Kg de polvo de compost y 160 Kg de restos de rafia y material vegetal. 10 Kg de éstos se lavan con agua y, después de separar manualmente los fragmentos vegetales más voluminosos y secar al aire, se obtuvieron 9,5 Kg de producto seco.
