Abstract

Un procedimiento para la separación de isobutileno desde una mezcla de gases hidrocarbonados que contiene isobutileno, caracterizado porque se hace reaccionar dicha mezcla con un ácido alcanóico bajo que contenga de 1 a 4 átomos de carbono, durante un tiempo comprendido entre unos 5 minutos y unas seis horas, en presencia de una resina de cambio catiónico de ácido sulfónico, deshidratada, que posee una estructura macro-reticular, a una temperatura comprendida entre ¿10ºC., aproximadamente y 50ºC., aproximadamente, con lo cual dicho isobutileno y dicho ácido alcanóico bajo reaccionan para formar un alcanoato bajo de butilo terciario, y se separan de la misma los gases que no han reaccionado.
