Abstract

A clip has a U-shaped cross- sectional contour, one wing (10) thereof having at its outer end an extension or bead (9), the base (12) of the U being formed at right angles thereto with an integral gripping lug (13) consisting of an extension of the other wing (14) of the U, which is opposite the free end of this other wing. The clip consists preferably of plastics material of the polyoxymethylene type. In use the clip holds together two elements with limbs (3, 7) bearing flanges (4, 8) by gripping at two locations, firstly by gripping limbs (3, 7) between wing (14) and the end of extension (9), and secondly by holding the flanges (4, 8) between the underside of extension (9) and base (12).
