Abstract
Un ventilador centrífugo que comprende: un impulsor centrífugo (4) que puede rotar alrededor de un eje de rotación (R); un motor de accionamiento (3) del impulsor centrífugo (4); una carcasa (2) que comprende una parte central (18) para alojar el motor (3) y el impulsor centrífugo (4) y un canal de salida tangencial (18) en comunicación con la parte central (17), la carcasa (2), que tiene una abertura de entrada (15) en la parte central (17) y una abertura de salida (16) en el canal de salida tangencial (18), un sistema (4, 14, 28, 29) para refrigerar el motor (3) que comprende el impulsor (4) y un canal de ventilación (30, 31), que funciona entre el canal de salida tangencial (18) y la parte central (17) para generar un flujo de aire de refrigeración, el ventilador caracterizado por que el sistema de refrigeración (4, 14, 28, 29) comprende un collar (28), integrado con el impulsor centrífugo (4) que se extiende axialmente desde el impulsor centrífugo (4) alrededor del motor (3) y una pluralidad de palas radiales (29) soportadas por el collar (28) y orientadas hacia el motor (3) para generar una componente tangencial de enfriamiento que se combina con el flujo de aire de refrigeración generando como resultado un vórtice RF helicoidal alrededor del motor (3).
