Procedure, with its means of realization, for attaching shut-off valves to containers containing pressurized material to be hermetically sealed, concerning the way of sealingly connecting a dispensing valve unit to a container containing pressurized medium, characterized in that a container with an opening in its upper part for filling, the edge of said opening is widened or flared upwards by inserting in them a valve unit housing of sufficiently hard and non-flexible plastic material that cannot be appreciably deformed and provided with a protrusion that extends laterally from said housing and that serves to clean the extension of the insert of said housing in the said opening and because pressure is applied to the aforementioned valve unit or to the housing in a direction substantially directed towards the bottom of the container, thus contracting said widened edge so as to force it to coming into sealing contact with the outer periphery of said housing.
