Abstract
Método para controlar un freno de liberación de compresión en un motor (102; 304) que comprende un múltiple (108; 324) de escape conectado a un turbocargador (112) provisto con una turbina de geometría de turbina variable (VTG) (115; 308) en donde dicha turbina se conecta, además, a una válvula (120; 312) de retropresión para controlar la caída de presión sobre dicha turbina, el método comprende controlar dicha válvula (120; 312) de retro presión sobre la base de la velocidad del motor medida y una potencia de frenado deseada; el método caracterizado por: determinar una presión de gas del múltiple de escape deseada sobre la base de al menos dicha velocidad del motor medida y dicha potencia de frenado deseada; y controlar dicha geometría de turbina variable de tal manera que se minimice la diferencia entre una presión de gas del múltiple de escape medida y dicha presión de gas del múltiple de escape deseada determinada.
