Abstract

Mejoras introducidas en la fabricación de suturas quirúrgicas no absorbible recubiertas, caracterizadas por el hecho de que dichas suturas comprenden una pluralidad de filamentos individuales en configuración coordinada de tal densidad que la sutura sin recubrir tiene caracteristicas quirúrgicamente manejables, y un recubrimiento sobre cada filamento de una silicona polímera, inerte fisiológicamente y no tóxica.
