Abstract

Mejoras en el procedimiento para la producción de películas a base de polímeros sintéticos de elevado peso molecular, así como artículos manufacturados similares,dotados de excelentes propiedades ópticas y mecánicas, por extrusión fundida y estiramiento de polímeros sintéticos de alto peso molecular, caracterizado por el hecho de que abarca los pasos de 1 extruir un polímero dotado de un contenido de más de 70% de polipropileno isotáctico,a temperatura entre 200ºC y 350ºC para producir una película de más de 100 micras de espesor, 2) enfriar rápidamente dicha película a una temperatura no superior a 90º C, 3) estirar la película enfriada en una primera dirección, con una relación de estiramiento total entre 1:2 y 1:16, 4) estirar la película en una segunda dirección perpendicular a la dirección empleada en el paso 3) y con una relación de estiramiento total 1:3 y 1:20 y una temperatura entre 50ºC y 170ºC.
