Abstract

Perfeccionamientos relativos a la polimerización de butadieno para obtener polímeros de alto peso molecular que tienen un contenido de estructura cis de a lo menos 93 %, en presencia de un disolvente hidrocarburo y un catalizador que es soluble en dicho disolvente y que se forma, haciendo reaccionar un haluro de dialkilaluminio con un derivado de beta-dicetona de un metal del grupo VIII de la tabla periódica, caracterizados porque la concentración del compuesto de metal del grupo VIII en el disolvente es mantenida a/o más baja, de 2 milimoles por litro y porque se emplea una proporción molar aproximada de 30 o más alta entre el haluro de dialkilaluminio y el compuesto de metal del grupo VIII.
