Abstract
Un sistema de comunicación celular que comprende una estación base y por lo menos un equipo de usuario, en donde la estación base está configurada para prestar servicio al equipo de usuario, y en donde la estación base comprende lógica (705) configurada para transmitir información de capacidad dúplex de estación base con respecto a la cual una pluralidad de modos dúplex son soportados por la estación base para el equipo de usuario con el uso de una estructura de señal que es común a una pluralidad de modos dúplex, en donde la pluralidad de modos dúplex comprende un modo dúplex por división de frecuencia, FDD, y un modo dúplex por división de tiempo, TDD; lógica configurada para recibir un mensaje de acceso desde el equipo de usuario en una frecuencia portadora en donde existe una coincidencia entre las capacidades dúplex del equipo de usuario y de la estación base, en donde la frecuencia portadora para el mensaje de acceso es la misma que la frecuencia portadora usada para la información de capacidad dúplex de estación base si la estación base está configurada para su uso en un modo de espectro sin emparejamiento o la frecuencia portadora que está emparejada con la frecuencia portadora usada para la información de capacidad dúplex de estación base si la estación base está configurada para usar un modo de espectro con emparejamiento; y lógica (705) configurada para recibir información de capacidad dúplex de equipo de usuario y para asignar un canal compartido para el equipo de usuario sobre la base de la capacidad dúplex del equipo de usuario.
