Abstract
Perfeccionamientos en reactores nuclearescaracterizados por destinarse éstos a la producción de vapor recalentadoutilizando el calor obtenido por una reacción de fisión nuclear en cadenay por comprender un recipiente cerradodotado de elementos de combustible nuclear montados en su interior para calentar un moderador líquido mantenido en el recipiente a un nivel predeterminado para producir vapory además porque el vapor recalentado se produce del moderador líquido en una trayectoria continua a través del recipiente por una construcción en la que el recipiente tiene dos regiones funcionales distintasuna de ellas una región de ebullicióny la otra una región de recalentamientocon elementos de combustible nuclear dispuestos en cada regióny el moderador líquido puede circular a través de las dos regiones; los elementos de combustible de la región de ebullición pueden funcionar para producir en la mismadel moderador líquidoy los elementos de combustible de la región de recalentamiento pueden funcionar para recalentar el vapor recibido de la región de ebullición y hacerlo pasarsometido a presióna través de la región de recalentamientoa una salida de la misma.
