Abstract

Procedimiento de ensamblaje de al menos dos piezas (1, 2) compuestas rígidas basadas en material termoplástico, formadas por capas preimpregnadas, superpuestas y cubiertas, con dos radios de curvatura, consistente en: superponer ambas piezas (1, 2) de manera que tengan al menos una zona de interfaz (4), siendo al menos una de las dos piezas portadora de uno o varios directores de energía (5), en voladizo, situados en la zona de interfaz (4), activar al menos una fuente de ultrasonidos (10) puesta en contacto con una de ambas piezas, aplicando dicha fuente de ultrasonidos (10) una fuerza de compresión (F) a ambas piezas (1, 2) en un área (4.1) de la zona de interfaz situada enfrente de la fuente de ultrasonidos (10), desplazar la fuente de ultrasonidos (10) según un desplazamiento en tres dimensiones de manera continua al nivel de la zona de interfaz (4), para de este modo formar una junta (6) de soldadura continua por fusión de material termoplástico del área (4.1) situada enfrente de la fuente de ultrasonidos (10).

Description

Procedimiento de ensamblaje por ultrasonidos.
Ámbito técnico
La presente invención se refiere a un procedimiento de ensamblaje por ultrasonidos de al menos dos piezas rígidas basadas en resina termoplástica. Tales piezas pueden utilizarse especialmente en aeronáutica, puede tratarse de paneles de fuselaje o de suelo que adquieren su rigidez por medio de uno o varios perfiles dispuestos en forma de marco o de larguero. Por supuesto, se pueden considerar otros tipos de piezas.
Estas piezas están generalmente estratificadas y reforzadas con fibras, por ejemplo de carbono, cuya tasa es generalmente de al menos el 5% en volumen. Están generalmente formadas por capas pre-impregnadas superpuestas y cubiertas, orientando las fibras de refuerzo en distinto sentido según las capas.
Estado de la técnica anterior
Existen actualmente varios procedimientos para el ensamblaje de dichas piezas rígidas basadas en resina termoplástica. Las dos piezas se solapan al nivel del ensamblaje y la zona de solapado forma lo que se denomina una junta de soldadura.
Actualmente, el ensamblaje se efectúa de manera estática o casi estática.
Los procedimientos de ensamblaje estático corresponden a la soldadura bajo chasis calefactor o en autoclave, bien por conducción térmica de un material de aporte o por resistencia eléctrica calefactora. La soldadura estática permite obtener juntas continuas y uniformes de buena calidad, pero supone costes elevados y no es compatible con una automatización en la medida en que las piezas por ensamblar son de grandes dimensiones.
La solicitud de patente EP 0261850 describe un procedimiento de ensamblaje por ultrasonidos de grandes piezas de resina termoplástica cargada. Las piezas están superpuestas y definen una zona de interfaz. Se aplican ultrasonidos por medio de una herramienta denominada sonotrodo, del que una base activa entra en contacto con una de las piezas al nivel de la zona de interfaz. Cuando la herramienta es activada, se produce un calentamiento que causa la fusión entre ambas piezas en un área de la zona de interfaz enfrente de la herramienta. El procedimiento descrito en esta solicitud de patente propone realizar de este modo, de manera secuencial, puntos de unión unos junto a otros, y estos puntos de unión forman una junta de soldadura. Se introduce resina termoplástica adicional entre las dos piezas que han de ensamblarse. La junta de soldadura obtenida no es realmente uniforme, ya que está constituida por una serie de puntos de unión e incluye discontinuidades. Dicha junta de soldadura no es satisfactoria a causa de su falta de homogeneidad, lo que puede plantear problemas mecánicos.
Para mejorar la resistencia mecánica del ensamblaje, se puede colocar asimismo un enrejado metálico en la interfaz entre ambas piezas. Pero, en este caso, la junta de soldadura es eléctricamente conductora a causa de la presencia del enrejado metálico. Puede incluso degradarse si es alcanzada por un rayo.
En cualquier caso, la junta de soldadura obtenida no es totalmente satisfactoria.
El sonotrodo es intercambiable, se emplea un sonotrodo cuya base activa es de gran tamaño para el ensamblaje de piezas planas, y de menor tamaño para el ensamblaje de piezas curvas. Cuanto mayor es la base, más importante es la energía ultrasónica que se ha de suministrar para obtener la unión y mayor es el punto de unión. Globalmente, este procedimiento es costoso en funcionamiento y en energía.
Los únicos procedimientos conocidos de ensamblaje capaces de realizar juntas continuas y uniformes de buena calidad entre dos piezas rígidas termoplásticas son el ensamblaje por inducción y el ensamblaje por láser.
En un ensamblaje por inducción, se coloca un enrejado metálico en la interfaz entre dos piezas. Se calienta por efecto de un campo magnético y transmite su calor a las dos piezas que han de ensamblarse, lo que provoca su fusión. Este procedimiento se dificulta por el hecho de que el carbono que carga el material termoplástico se vuelve eléctricamente conductor. Aparecen los mismos inconvenientes que durante la soldadura por ultrasonidos con enrejado metálico.
El ensamblaje por láser solo puede utilizarse si una de las piezas que ha n de ensamblarse ensamblar es transparente a la radiación láser. Al pasar a través del material transparente, la radiación procedente del láser provoca el calentamiento y la fusión de los materiales que se encuentran en la interfaz entre ambas piezas. En el infrarrojo cercano, la mayoría de los materiales termoplásticos son transparentes en la medida en que no están, o no están prácticamente, cargados de carbono. Si la carga de carbono supera aproximadamente el 5% en volumen, se vuelven absorbentes y este procedimiento no puede utilizarse.
El documento US 2005/0018492 divulga un procedimiento de ensamblaje de las piezas de un contenedor para tóner por ultrasonidos. Las piezas carecen de doble curvatura.
El documento GB 1047295 divulga un procedimiento de ensamblaje por ultrasonidos de piezas de material sintético duro, para formar un cuerpo hueco, careciendo las piezas de doble curvatura.
Los documentos DE 4217727 y DE 9219123 U1 describen un procedimiento de ensamblaje por ultrasonidos de dos hojas termoplásticas, separadas por espaciadores, para realizar un sistema plano empleado en la construcción.
El documento JP 53045380 divulga un procedimiento de ensamblaje por ultrasonidos de dos piezas de material termoplástico, siendo una de las piezas un canalón anular y la otra un tapa sensiblemente plana.
El documento US 5930041 divulga un procedimiento de ensamblaje por ultrasonidos de dos películas de material termoplástico, estando una de las películas dotada, en una de sus caras, de elementos reflectores. El ensamblaje se efectúa en un rodillo.
Exposición de la invención
La presente invención tiene por objeto proponer un procedimiento de ensamblaje de al menos dos piezas rígidas basadas en resina termoplástica, que no presenta las limitaciones y dificultades anteriores.
Un objeto consiste especialmente en proponer un procedimiento de ensamblaje que conduce a una junta de soldadura lo más uniforme y continua posible.
Un objeto de la invención es proponer un procedimiento de ensamblaje de reducido coste y fácil de automatizar.
Otro objeto es proponer un procedimiento de ensamblaje que pueda utilizarse fácilmente con piezas de cualquier tamaño.
Otro objeto es proponer un procedimiento de ensamblaje que pueda utilizarse con piezas de cualquier geometría, tanto si son planas como curvas, incluso con varias curvaturas.
Otro objeto de la invención es proponer un procedimiento de ensamblaje que conduce a una junta de soldadura con una resistencia mecánica satisfactoria, sin necesidad de recurrir a un refuerzo metálico, para de este modo evitar cualquier problema de incompatibilidad electromagnética y de degradación causada por el rayo.
Para alcanzar estos objetos, la invención se refiere más concretamente a un procedimiento de ensamblaje de al menos dos piezas compuestas rígidas basadas en material termoplástico, según la reivindicación 1. Comprende las etapas consistentes en:
superponer ambas piezas de manera que tengan al menos una zona de interfaz, siendo al menos una de las dos piezas portadora de uno o varios directores de energía, en voladizo, situados en la zona de interfaz, activar al menos una fuente de ultrasonidos puesta en contacto con una de ambas piezas, aplicando dicha fuente de ultrasonidos una fuerza de compresión a ambas piezas en un área de la zona de interfaz situada enfrente de la fuente de ultrasonidos,
desplazar la fuente de ultrasonidos de manera continua al nivel de la zona de interfaz, para de este modo formar una junta de soldadura continua por fusión de material termoplástico del área situada enfrente de la fuente de ultrasonidos.
Es ventajoso para mejorar la calidad de la junta, mantener las dos piezas bajo presión en la zona de interfaz, por delante y/o por detrás del área enfrente de la fuente de ultrasonidos. Los conceptos delante o detrás se entienden en función del sentido de desplazamiento de la fuente de ultrasonidos.
Es posible que la presión entre las dos piezas por delante y/o por detrás del área situada enfrente de la fuente de ultrasonidos sea ajustable.
La fuente de ultrasonidos proporciona una energía a las piezas cuando es activada, esta energía puede regularse en función de un parámetro elegido entre la velocidad de desplazamiento de la fuente de ultrasonidos, su amplitud de vibración cuando es activada, la fuerza de compresión que aplica a ambas piezas, para de este modo garantizar una fusión óptima.
La regulación es ventajosamente del tipo PID.
El desplazamiento puede efectuarse en una, dos o tres dimensiones, lo que permite ensamblar con facilidad piezas con formas extremadamente diversas y complejas.
La fuente de ultrasonidos incluye un sonotrodo con una base que entra en contacto con la pieza; teniendo esta base
preferiblemente al menos un borde curvado para limitar los roces y evitar dañar la pieza con la que está en contacto. El borde curvado se encuentra preferiblemente en el lado anterior del sonotrodo en el sentido del desplazamiento. Los directores de energía pueden ser nervaduras o espigas. fuente de ultrasonidos. Para mejorar la calidad de la junta, es preferible que las nervaduras estén dirigidas en el sentido del desplazamiento. El material termoplástico es semicristalino o amorfo. Cuando se utilizan varias fuentes de ultrasonidos, es preferible que realicen un mismo desplazamiento síncrono, con
objeto de reducir el tiempo de ensamblaje. La presente invención se refiere asimismo a un ensamblaje obtenido mediante el procedimiento de la invención. En este ensamblaje, la pieza portadora de los directores de energía ha sido tratada por conformación, estampación
o extrusión para obtener los directores de energía.
En este ensamblaje, al menos una de las piezas está preferiblemente estratificada.
Una de las piezas puede estar cargada con fibras de refuerzo.
Una de las piezas puede ser un perfil o un panel.
Un dispositivo de ensamblaje de al menos dos piezas rígidas basadas en material termoplástico que permite aplicar el procedimiento de la invención incluye al menos un conjunto de soldadura por ultrasonidos que incluye una fuente de ultrasonidos que debe ponerse en contacto con una de las piezas en una zona de interfaz definida por la superposición de las dos piezas, y dotada de medios de presión para aplicar una fuerza de compresión en ambas piezas, medios de desplazamiento del conjunto de soldadura por ultrasonidos de manera que la fuente de ultrasonidos siga un camino continuo en la superficie de la pieza, teniendo este camino un trazado correspondiente al de una junta de soldadura obtenida en la zona de interfaz enfrente de la fuente de ultrasonidos.
El conjunto de soldadura por ultrasonidos puede incluir medios de prensado de ambas piezas colocados corriente abajo de la fuente de ultrasonidos.
El conjunto de soldadura por ultrasonidos puede incluir medios de estabilización de las dos piezas colocadas corriente arriba de la fuente de ultrasonidos.
Los medios de prensado y los medios de estabilización pueden incluir uno o varios rodillos prensadores.
Es posible prever medios de regulación de una presión aplicada por los medios de prensado y/o los medios de estabilización sobre ambas piezas.
La fuente de ultrasonidos proporciona energía a ambas piezas, el conjunto de soldadura por ultrasonidos puede incluir medios de regulación de la energía en función de un parámetro elegido entre la velocidad de desplazamiento del conjunto de soldadura por ultrasonidos, la amplitud de vibración de la fuente de ultrasonidos cuando es activada y la fuerza de compresión que aplica a ambas piezas.
La regulación es ventajosamente del tipo PID.
Es preferible que los medios de desplazamiento sean comunes a varios conjuntos de soldadura por ultrasonidos.
Los medios de desplazamiento pueden permitir un desplazamiento en una, dos o tres dimensiones.
La fuente de ultrasonidos incluye un sonotrodo con una base que se pone en contacto con la pieza, teniendo esta base preferiblemente al menos un borde curvado.
El borde curvado puede encontrarse preferiblemente en el lado anterior del sonotrodo en el sentido del desplazamiento.
Breve descripción de los dibujos
La presente invención se entenderá mejor mediante la lectura de la descripción de ejemplos de realización proporcionados a modo puramente indicativo y en modo alguno limitativo, con referencia a los dibujos adjuntos, en los cuales:
Las figuras 1A, 1B, 1C muestran un dispositivo de ensamblaje de al menos dos piezas rígidas planas y las dos piezas antes de su ensamblaje y después de su ensamblaje.
Las figuras 2A, 2B muestran de manera esquemática en corte longitudinal y transversal un dispositivo de ensamblaje de al menos dos piezas rígidas curvas.
Las partes idénticas, similares o equivalentes de las distintas figuras descritas a continuación llevan las mismas referencias numéricas, con objeto de facilitar el paso de una figura a otra.
Las distintas partes representadas en las figuras no lo están necesariamente según una escala uniforme, para que las figuras sean más legibles.
Exposición detallada de modos de realización particulares
Se describe a continuación un ejemplo de procedimiento de ensamblaje de al menos dos piezas rígidas de material termoplástico según la invención y con referencia a las figuras 1A, 1B, 1C, que muestran respectivamente una instalación para la aplicación del procedimiento de la invención y las dos piezas antes y después del ensamblaje.
Se supone que, en el ejemplo descrito, una de las piezas es un perfil 1 y la otra un panel 2. Por supuesto, se pueden considerar otros tipos de piezas. El panel 2 está representado plano, pero podría ser curvo como en la figura 2A, especialmente si se trata de un panel de fuselaje de una aeronave. El perfil 1 podría entonces adaptarse a la curvatura del panel.
Estas piezas 1, 2 son rígidas, están realizadas en un material termoplástico y están preferiblemente estratificadas. Para mejorar su rigidez, pueden estar reforzadas con fibras. Las fibras de refuerzo pueden ser de carbono, vidrio o boro, por ejemplo. Estas piezas se denominan habitualmente estructuras compuestas. Se supone que el fondo empleado en las figuras 1 esquematiza las fibras.
El material termoplástico es preferiblemente amorfo o semicristalino. Como material termoplástico se pueden emplear por ejemplo resinas del tipo PEI (polieterimida), PEEK (polieteretercetona), PPS (sulfuro de polifenileno), PEKK (polietercetoncetona).
El procedimiento de ensamblaje se aplica tanto a piezas 1, 2 con una importante carga de fibras de refuerzo (por ejemplo superior al 30% del volumen) como a piezas poco cargadas (por ejemplo menos del 5% en volumen) o incluso no cargadas en absoluto. El ensamblaje se efectuará por ultrasonidos, por medio de al menos un aparato de soldadura por ultrasonidos 10 que comprende un sonotrodo 7 mecánicamente acoplado a un generador convertidor 8 por medio de un amplificador 9 (conocido con la denominación de booster). El generador convertidor 8 transmite, a partir de energía eléctrica, vibraciones mecánicas al sonotrodo 7. El amplificador 9 amplifica la amplitud de las vibraciones transmitidas por el generador convertidor 8. El sonotrodo 7 amplifica asimismo la amplitud de las vibraciones. La frecuencia de las vibraciones puede estar comprendida entre alrededor de 15 y 40 kHz y, preferiblemente, adoptar un valor de aproximadamente 20 kHz.
Las dos piezas 1, 2 están superpuestas al menos localmente y se define una zona de interfaz 4 entre ellas. Una de las piezas 2 reposa sobre un utillaje de depósito 3 o yunque y la fuente de ultrasonidos 10 se pone en contacto con la otra pieza 1 que ha de ensamblarse ensamblar, mediante el sonotrodo 7, al nivel de la zona de interfaz 4. Se aplica una fuerza de compresión F a las dos piezas mediante la fuente de ultrasonidos en un área 4.1 de la zona de interfaz 4 situada enfrente de la fuente de ultrasonidos. Dicha fuerza de compresión puede ser proporcionada con la ayuda de medios de presión 18, por ejemplo neumáticos, incluidos en la fuente de ultrasonidos 10.
La fuente de ultrasonidos 10 es activada y puesta en movimiento de manera continua, a la vez que permanece en contacto con la otra pieza 1 que ha de ensamblarse, al nivel de la zona de interfaz 4, para de este modo seguir un camino en el que va a materializar, a nivel de la zona de interfaz 4, una junta de soldadura 6 continua y uniforme entre ambas piezas 1, 2 que han de ensamblarse. El desplazamiento del sonotrodo 7 es curvilíneo en la superficie del apilamiento. Esta superficie es curva y corresponde a la superficie de la pieza en contacto con el sonotrodo. En cualquier caso, este desplazamiento es continuo. Este desplazamiento se efectúa en el espacio, es decir en tres dimensiones. Un desplazamiento en tres dimensiones puede conducir al ensamblaje con una junta lineal de dos piezas con dos radios de curvatura.
Unos medios de desplazamiento 11 de la fuente de ultrasonidos 10 están representados esquemáticamente mediante un elevador. La fuente de ultrasonidos 10 puede cooperar con una corredera, un pórtico o ser acarreada por un brazo eventualmente articulado, dependiendo todo del movimiento que debe realizar: la corredera permite un movimiento en una dimensión, el pórtico puede permitir un movimiento en dos dimensiones y el brazo articulado un movimiento en tres dimensiones. En la figura 1A se ha esquematizado una corredera o un pórtico 17.
Mediante fricción intermolecular, la energía cíclica de vibración del sonotrodo 7 se convierte en energía térmica en el material termoplástico en el área 4.1 de la zona de interfaz 4 enfrente del sonotrodo 7. El sonotrodo 7 posee una base activa 70 que entra en contacto con la otra pieza 1 que ha de ensamblarse. Esta base 70 posee dos bordes laterales, un borde anterior y un borde posterior, en función del desplazamiento previsto. La anchura de la base 70 en contacto con la otra pieza 1 corresponde sensiblemente a la de la junta 6 que se va a obtener. Estas dimensiones se elegirán en función de la energía térmica que ha de aportarse para obtener la fusión del material termoplástico en la zona de la interfaz 4. Se requieren temperaturas del orden de 400ºC para obtener la fusión de resina PEEK y del orden de 300ºC para obtener la fusión de resina PPS.
Es preferible que la base 70 del sonotrodo 7 no sea totalmente plana, sino que sea curvada especialmente al nivel de su borde anterior para limitar los roces con la pieza 1 con la que está en contacto. Esto evita asimismo dañar la superficie de la pieza 1 con la que está en contacto durante el desplazamiento. Este curvado aporta asimismo una ventaja en caso de pieza curva. Si las superficies de las piezas que han de ensamblarse son curvas, es preferible que el borde posterior esté asimismo curvado.
En este tipo de fuente de ultrasonidos 10, el sonotrodo 7 es generalmente amovible, especialmente para poder adaptarlo a las características de la junta 6 que se ha de obtener y a las de las superficies que se han de ensamblar. Ocurre generalmente lo mismo con el amplificador 9 para poder adaptar la ganancia de la fuente de ultrasonidos 10.
Para asegurarse de que las dos piezas 1, 2 estarán fuertemente unidas la una a la otra, al menos una de las piezas 1, 2 incluye uno o varios directores de energía 5 ubicados en la zona de interfaz 4. Estos directores de energía 5 van a concentrar y canalizar la energía mecánica al nivel de la zona de interfaz 4 y van a contribuir, fundiéndose, a realizar la junta de soldadura 6 de sección deseada en la interfaz entre las dos piezas 1, 2. En las figuras 1, los directores de energía 5 son portados por el perfil 1, pero se podría considerar que sea la otra pieza 2 la que incluya los directores de energía, o incluso que estén repartidos sobre las dos piezas 1, 2 como en las figuras 2. Sin embargo, para mejorar la calidad de la junta de soldadura 6, es preferible que los directores de energía estén dispuestos en la pieza 1 que va a entrar en contacto con la fuente de ultrasonidos 10.
Un director de energía 5 puede adoptar la forma de una nervadura o de una espiga, que sobresale de pieza 1 que lo conduce hacia la otra pieza 2 cuando las dos piezas están superpuestas. Cuando un director de energía es del tipo nervadura, esta última sigue generalmente la orientación de la junta 6. Las figuras muestran tanto directores de energía en forma de nervadura como de espiga. Preferiblemente, se alojarán varias nervaduras o varias espigas separadas unas de otras en función de la anchura de la junta 6 deseada. En lo que se refiere a las espigas, podrán disponerse en líneas o al tresbolillo u otra manera.
La sección transversal de los directores de energía 5 podrá ser sensiblemente triangular, trapezoidal, rectangular, cuadrada, semicircular u otra. Si se trata de espigas, podrán ser paralelepipédicas, semiesféricas, piramidales o cónicas y eventualmente truncadas.
Estos directores de energía 5 podrán elaborarse directamente durante la fabricación de la pieza que los lleva mediante estampación, extrusión o conformación continua por medio de una herramienta acanalada si se trata de nervaduras.
Por ejemplo, para realizar una junta rectilínea de un grosor aproximado de 0,05 milímetros de resina PEEK, es posible disponer directores de energía del tipo nervadura, orientados según el eje principal de la junta, separados cada 1,5 milímetros y cuya altura de cresta sea de 0,3 milímetros. La separación se entiende de cresta a cresta. La sección recta de los directores de energía de este ejemplo es triangular.
Es preferible prever medios de prensado 12 dispuestos corriente abajo de la fuente de ultrasonidos 10 y que prensen las dos piezas 1, 2 una contra otra. Esta presión se aplica corriente abajo del área 4.1 de la zona de interfaz 4 situada enfrente de la fuente de ultrasonidos 10. Estos medios de prensado 12 garantizan una adecuada adhesión de las dos piezas 1, 2 antes de que se fundan, cuando aún están libres. Estos medios de prensado 12 pueden realizarse por medio de uno o varios rodillos prensadores puestos en contacto con ambas piezas 1, 2 superpuestas. Se pueden prever medios de regulación de la presión 13, por ejemplo, puede tratarse de medios neumáticos que incluyen una electroválvula. Se elegirá preferiblemente una presión de adhesión inferior o igual a la de la presión del aire comprimido industrial, que es del orden de 6 bares.
Es ventajoso prever medios de estabilización 14 dispuestos corriente arriba de la fuente de ultrasonidos 10. Prensan las dos piezas 1, 2 que acaban de ser ensambladas y las mantienen en posición mientras la junta de soldadura 6, recién creada, está endureciéndose al enfriarse. Esta presión se aplica corriente arriba del área 4.1 de la zona de interfaz 4 situada enfrente de la fuente de ultrasonidos 10. Estos medios estabilizadores 14 pueden realizarse con uno o varios rodillos estabilizadores. Se pueden prever unos medios de regulación de la presión 15 aplicada a los rodillos; por ejemplo, puede tratarse de medios neumáticos que incluyan una electroválvula. Se elegirá preferiblemente una presión de adhesión inferior o igual a la de la presión del aire comprimido industrial, que es del orden de 6 bares.
Para obtener una junta de soldadura 6 de calidad óptima, se pretende aportar a la zona de interfaz 4 una energía instantánea suficiente para garantizar una buena fusión del material termoplástico en la superficie de ambas piezas y del material termoplástico de los directores de energía.
Es posible prever medios de regulación 16 del nivel de la energía aportado por la fuente de ultrasonidos 10. Estos medios de regulación 16 pueden ser del tipo PID (abreviatura de la expresión anglosajona proportional integral derivative, es decir proporcional integral derivado) estándar. Dichos medios de regulación 16 son clásicos para un experto en la materia. Como parámetro de regulación de la energía es posible elegir la amplitud A de la fuente de ultrasonidos 10, es decir la amplitud al nivel del convertidor, la velocidad de desplazamiento V de la fuente de ultrasonidos 10 o la fuerza de compresión F aplicada por la fuente de ultrasonidos 10 a las piezas 1, 2 que han de ensamblarse.
Si los medios de prensado 12 y/o los medios de estabilización 14 están presentes, son solidarios a la fuente de ultrasonidos 10 y siguen su desplazamiento. Forman, con la fuente de ultrasonidos 10, un conjunto de soldadura por ultrasonidos con referencia 100.
Si están presentes medios de regulación 16, están asimismo incluidos en el conjunto de soldadura por ultrasonidos
100.
Por el contrario, se considera que el conjunto de soldadura por ultrasonidos 100 no incluye los medios de desplazamiento 11.
En las figuras 2A, 2B se ha representado una operación de ensamblaje de al menos dos piezas 1, 2 con la ayuda de más de una fuente de ultrasonidos 10.1, 10.2. Se traza un eje de coordenadas x, y, z para dar a entender que el desplazamiento de la fuente de ultrasonidos es susceptible de realizarse en tres dimensiones.
Una de las piezas que ha de ensamblarse es el perfil 1, con una sección sensiblemente en forma de omega. La otra pieza 2 es un panel curvo. El perfil en forma de omega 1 incluye en su base dos superficies de ensamblaje distintas 1.1, 1.2 que han de fijarse al panel 2. Se deben realizar dos juntas de soldadura 6. Con el procedimiento de la invención, estas dos juntas 6 pueden realizarse simultáneamente utilizando dos conjuntos de soldadura similares a los descritos anteriormente y utilizados en paralelo con un control del desplazamiento común. En las figuras 2, los conjuntos de soldadura por ultrasonidos se materializan únicamente por su fuente de ultrasonidos 10.1, 10.2, por los medios de prensado 12.1, 12.2 y los medios de estabilización 14.1, 14.2. Los medios de desplazamiento 11 son comunes a los dos conjuntos de soldadura por ultrasonidos. Las dos fuentes de ultrasonidos 10.1, 10.2 realizan entonces un mismo desplazamiento síncrono.
En dichas figuras 2A, 2B, se supone que los elementos directores 5 están repartidos en ambas piezas 1, 2 que han de ensamblarse.

Claims (17)

  1. REIVINDICACIONES
    1. Procedimiento de ensamblaje de al menos dos piezas (1, 2) compuestas rígidas basadas en material termoplástico, formadas por capas preimpregnadas, superpuestas y cubiertas, con dos radios de curvatura, consistente en:
    superponer ambas piezas (1, 2) de manera que tengan al menos una zona de interfaz (4), siendo al menos una de las dos piezas portadora de uno o varios directores de energía (5), en voladizo, situados en la zona de interfaz (4),
    activar al menos una fuente de ultrasonidos (10) puesta en contacto con una de ambas piezas, aplicando dicha fuente de ultrasonidos (10) una fuerza de compresión (F) a ambas piezas (1, 2) en un área (4.1) de la zona de interfaz situada enfrente de la fuente de ultrasonidos (10),
    desplazar la fuente de ultrasonidos (10) según un desplazamiento en tres dimensiones de manera continua al nivel de la zona de interfaz (4), para de este modo formar una junta (6) de soldadura continua por fusión de material termoplástico del área (4.1) situada enfrente de la fuente de ultrasonidos (10).
  2. 2.
    Procedimiento de ensamblaje según la reivindicación 1, en el que las dos piezas (1, 2) son mantenidas a presión en la zona de interfaz (4), por delante y/o por detrás del área (4.1) situada enfrente de la fuente de ultrasonidos (10).
  3. 3.
    Procedimiento de ensamblaje según la reivindicación 2, en el que la presión entre las dos piezas por delante y/o por detrás del área (4.1) situada enfrente de la fuente de ultrasonidos es ajustable.
  4. 4.
    Procedimiento de ensamblaje según una de las reivindicaciones 1 a 3, en el que la fuente de ultrasonidos (10) suministra a las piezas (1, 2) energía cuando es activada, siendo esta energía regulada en función de un parámetro elegido entre la velocidad de desplazamiento (V) de la fuente de ultrasonidos, su amplitud (A) de vibración cuando es activada, la fuerza (F) de compresión que aplica a ambas piezas.
  5. 5.
    Procedimiento de ensamblaje según la reivindicación 4, en el que la regulación es del tipo PID.
  6. 6.
    Procedimiento de ensamblaje según una de las reivindicaciones anteriores, en el que la fuente de ultrasonidos
    (10) incluye un sonotrodo (7) que tiene una base (70) que entra en contacto con la pieza (1); teniendo esta base (70) al menos un borde curvado.
  7. 7.
    Procedimiento de ensamblaje según la reivindicación 6, en el que el borde curvado se encuentra en un lado anterior del sonotrodo (7) en el sentido del desplazamiento.
  8. 8.
    Procedimiento de ensamblaje según una de las reivindicaciones anteriores, en el que los directores de energía (5) son nervaduras o espigas.
  9. 9.
    Procedimiento de ensamblaje según una de las reivindicaciones anteriores, en el que los directores de energía (5) son portados por la pieza (1) en contacto con la fuente de ultrasonidos (10).
  10. 10.
    Procedimiento de ensamblaje según una de las reivindicaciones 8 o 9, en el que las nervaduras están dirigidas en el sentido del desplazamiento.
  11. 11.
    Procedimiento de ensamblaje según una de las reivindicaciones anteriores, en el que el material termoplástico es amorfo o semicristalino.
  12. 12.
    Procedimiento de ensamblaje según una de las reivindicaciones anteriores, en el que cuando se utilizan varias fuentes de ultrasonidos (10), realizan un mismo desplazamiento síncrono.
  13. 13.
    Ensamblaje de al menos dos piezas (1, 2), caracterizado porque se obtiene por el procedimiento según una de las reivindicaciones 1 a 12.
  14. 14.
    Ensamblaje de al menos dos piezas según la reivindicación 13, caracterizado porque la pieza (1) que lleva los directores de energía (5) ha sido tratada por conformación, estampación o extrusión para obtener los directores de energía.
  15. 15.
    Ensamblaje de al menos dos piezas según una de las reivindicaciones 13 o 14, caracterizado porque al menos una de las dos piezas (1, 2) está cargada con fibras de refuerzo.
  16. 16.
    Ensamblaje de al menos dos piezas según una de las reivindicaciones 13 a 15, en el que una de las piezas es un perfil (1).
  17. 17.
    Ensamblaje de al menos dos piezas según una de las reivindicaciones 13 a 16, en el que una de las piezas es un panel (2).
