Description

Drainage channel

The present invention relates to a water intake assembly for drainage channels. Its field of application is that of drainage devices in general, and especially that of work shower trays.

Background of the invention

Usually, the water in the drainage channels is carried out through a grid or perforated plate mounted tightly on a suitable frame. The plurality of water holes and its small size lead to frequent traffic jams due to accumulation of dirt, hair, etc., which requires a constant cleaning if you want to maintain proper operation and an acceptable appearance.

WO 2004/072392 describes a roadway grid for surface drainage in which the grid frame shows inlet openings in the form of depressions to resolve the appearance of residual pools of water when the upper edge of the frame is higher than the surface of the road.

Document DE 19540068 describes a drain grate fixed in a concrete opening by means of several laterally projected elastic tongues.

EP 1191148 discloses a drain grid coupled on continuous rails with lower and lateral projections.

Document DE 8804073 describes a drainage channel molded in polyester concrete whose longitudinal upper edges of the side walls are covered by a "U" shaped protection profile.

Document DE 202006014959 describes a glass drain plate resting on an inverted "U" shaped support whose vertical legs receive several "U" shaped spacers. It leads to a complex assembly, and it is necessary to add a specific support.

Accordingly, it is an objective of the present invention to have a water intake assembly for drainage channels, safe and easy to clean.

It is another object of the present invention to have a water intake assembly for drainage channels, as simple as possible.

Description of the invention

To achieve the proposed objectives, a water intake assembly for drainage channels has been designed, consisting of a frame that has a perimeter support to allow it to rest in the drainage channel and an inner skirt that ends in flange.

A plate of dimensions smaller than the perimeter support rests on the flanges and is separated from the inner skirt by means of a plurality of spacers that have for this purpose a vertical wall, a horizontal wall, and a fin that allows its fixing to the flange of the skirt inside the frame, which hugs.

In this way a perimeter separation between the plate and the frame is configured, through which the water circulates. The set allows a high flow rate thanks to the large perimeter of this type of gutters, even with a reduced separation between plate and frame.

The invention offers, in addition to a high flow rate, a clean and safe device, with an extremely simple and economical execution.

Detailed description of a preferred embodiment

As can be seen in Figures 1 and 2, the water intake assembly for drainage channels of the invention consists of a frame (1) having a perimeter support (2) and an inner skirt (3) that ends in flanges (4).
