Abstract

Procedimiento de obtención de cloruro de vinilo, caracterizado por partirse de dicloroetano que se descompone térmicamente en la fase de vapor y porque el dicloroetano se piroliza en presencia de carbón exento de cenizas que se prepara lavando carbón activo, primero con ácido nítrico 2N de 50 a 75ºC., y luego con agua; el carbón exento de cenizas mencionado estando libre de sales metálicas, por ejemplo, sales de hierro, que catalizan la formación de productos inconvenientes o nocivos.
