Abstract

Procedimiento para la producción de urea sustancialmente anhidra, caracterizado por concentrar una solución acuosa de urea hasta una concentración de aproximadamente 87 a 96% en peso de urea en el vacio a una presión superior a 200mms. Hg y someter luego dicha solución concentrada a una segunda evaporación en una segunda fase bajo un vacio menor de 100mms.Hg, mientras se retira el vapor acuoso de ella de modo que se obtenga una papilla de urea sólida en una solución de urea, retirar dicha papilla de urea como fusión mientras se le aporta continuamente calor y controlar dicha aportación de calor de manera que la temperatura de salida de dicha fusión se mantenga por debajo de 145ºC.
