Abstract
Procedimiento para la separación de niobio y tantalio, caracterizado porque se transforma materiales que contienen niobio y tantalio en forma oxidada, particularmente minerales que contienen niobio y tantalio que eventualmente han sido posteriormente tratados con la finalidad de enriquecimiento, o bien mezclas de óxidos de estos dos metales, con gas cloro y un reductor en una mezcla de productos de cloración que contiene preponderante o exclusivamente niobio como oxicloruro y tantalio como pentacloruro y porque se somete esta mezcla a una condensación fraccionada, o bien se la disocia mediante sublimación en fracciones.
