Abstract
Dispositivo para el suministro de energía eléctrica a una pluma eléctrica (2) con una unidad eléctrica de accionamiento para el accionamiento de una herramienta, incluyendo el dispositivo un panel con unidad suministradora de energía eléctrica (1), que provee de energía eléctrica a la unidad eléctrica de accionamiento de la pluma eléctrica (2), A) estando equipado el panel con unidad suministradora de energía eléctrica (1), con un acumulador (4); B) teniendo lugar la alimentación eléctrica del panel con la unidad suministradora de energía eléctrica (1) en la pluma eléctrica (2), sea mediante un cable esterilizable sea inductivamente sin enlace eléctrico, caracterizado porque C) el panel con unidad suministradora de energía eléctrica (1), está configurado de manera tal que puede ser esterilizado al vapor.
Description
Dispositivo para suministrar energía eléctrica a
una pluma eléctrica.
La presente invención se refiere a un dispositivo
de acuerdo con el preámbulo de la reivindicación 1.
Los dispositivos de este tipo encuentran una
aplicación en especial en la medicina como también en la cirugía.
Por ejemplo, las plumas eléctricas son utilizadas también para
operaciones en la cara y en las manos.
En el documento US 5,413,590 WILLIAMSON se
publica un dispositivo de tratamiento de la piel con una unidad de
suministro de energía independiente de la red y con un instrumento
que presenta un electrodo metálico.
La unidad suministradora de energía conocida por
el estado de la técnica arriba citado para una pluma eléctrica tiene
el inconveniente de que, por razones constructivas, no se puede
esterilizar.
En el documento DE-OS 197 13 224
A1 se revela una pluma electromagnética para ser utilizada en la
terapia humana y veterinaria. Sirve para la aplicación de productos
farmacéuticos a través de la piel humana o animal mediante campos
magnéticos de baja intensidad, sin perforar la piel. Dicha pluma
eléctrica es accionada mediante dos microbaterías conectadas
sucesivamente entre sí como unidad suministradora de energía.
Además, por el documento US 6,039,734 GOBLE se
conoce un instrumento electroquirúrgico que se puede sujetar con la
mano y que comprende de forma integrada en el asa, un generador de
radiofrecuencia y, como unidad suministradora de energía, una
batería.
Ambos instrumentos tienen el inconveniente del
peso del instrumento que aumenta como consecuencia de las baterías
integradas en el asa y, por consiguiente, su limitada
manejabilidad.
Por ello la presente invención tiene el objeto de
crear un dispositivo para proveer energía eléctrica a una pluma
eléctrica, que es móvil y no está espacialmente acoplado a la red de
energía eléctrica ni a un panel, con lo cual se garantiza la
ausencia de gérmenes.
Dicho objetivo es logrado de acuerdo con la
invención mediante la parte caracterizante de la reivindicación
1.
El dispositivo de acuerdo con la invención tiene
la ventaja de que puede prescindirse del cable de acoplamiento a la
red y que con ello se asegura su movilidad. Al no haber una batería
en la pluma eléctrica se aliviana considerablemente la misma y se la
hace más manejable. Al mismo tiempo desaparece la necesidad de
acoplar la pluma eléctrica con una zona no esterilizada. Otra de las
ventajas consiste en la manipulación directa de todas las funciones
del aparato por el operador.
En una de sus variantes, la pluma eléctrica,
utilizada conjuntamente con el dispositivo, presenta adicionalmente
la ventaja de que se prescinde del cable de alimentación y no es
necesario integrar ningún acumulador grande o pesado, en la pluma
eléctrica propiamente dicha.
En las sub-reivindicaciones se
consignan otros desarrollos ventajosos de las configuraciones de la
invención.
Es conveniente que el panel con la unidad
suministradora de energía esté configurado hermético a los fluidos,
a efectos de asegurar la posibilidad de esterilizarlo y de hacerlo
resistente a los vapores calientes. La posibilidad de esterilizar al
vapor está subordinada a la posibilidad de resistir una temperatura
de 143ºC bajo una humedad relativa del 100% y una presión de 3
bar.
En la única Figura se ha representado un ejemplo
de realización de la invención.
En la única Figura se muestra el dispositivo de
acuerdo con la invención provisto con un panel y unidad
suministradora de energía, como también una pluma eléctrica.
En la Figura única 1, el número de referencia 1
designa el panel con unidad suministradora de energía. Desde la
misma la pluma eléctrica 2 es alimentada con energía eléctrica sea
directamente por medio de un cable, sea indirectamente a través de
un dispositivo de carga y un pequeño acumulador de energía. La pluma
eléctrica 2 está equipada con una unidad eléctrica de accionamiento,
5, para accionar una herramienta. Por lo general la unidad
eléctrica de accionamiento 5 es un motor eléctrico, pero también es
posible concebir otras unidades de accionamiento que en lugar de ser
movidas en forma giratoria son movidas en forma de traslación.
De acuerdo con la invención el panel y unidad
suministradora de energía eléctrica, 1, puede ser esterilizado. A
tal efecto, el panel y unidad suministradora de energía eléctrica,
1, está encerrado en una carcasa 3 hermética a los fluidos. Dado que
el panel y unidad suministradora de energía eléctrica, 1, puede ser
esterilizado, podrá ser utilizado directamente por el cirujano, a
diferencia de un panel y unidad suministradora de energía
eléctrica, 1, tradicional.
El panel y unidad suministradora de energía
eléctrica, 1, es independiente de la red y por ello móvil, y a tal
efecto está equipado con el acumulador 4 en calidad de fuente de
energía eléctrica.
En una forma de realización variante, en la pluma
eléctrica 2 se instala una pequeña fuente de energía eléctrica, de
recarga rápida (por ejemplo un condensador), que puede ser recargada
mediante un acoplamiento eléctrico o inductivo con una instalación
correspondiente en el panel con el suministro de energía eléctrica,
1, por medio del acumulador 4. Esto tiene la ventaja de que en la
pluma eléctrica 2 no es necesario utilizar un acumulador grande y
pesado. Para la carga se utilizan sea contactos eléctricos sea un
transductor 6 con por lo menos una bobina en el panel y unidad
suministradora de energía eléctrica, 1, y en la pluma eléctrica
2.
El panel presenta un soporte de sujeción, 10, en
el cual puede ser alojada la pluma eléctrica para su carga.
Gracias a la independencia del panel con unidad
suministradora de energía eléctrica, 1, con respecto a la red,
debida al acumulador 4 y la ausencia, impuesta por el diseño, de
cables de alimentación eléctrica entre la red y el panel y unidad
suministradora de energía eléctrica, 1, resulta que el sistema en su
conjunto ya no está restringido a un solo lugar de trabajo, y es
móvil, pudiendo ser trasladado de un lugar a otro durante una
operación.
El número de referencia 7 sirve para designar los
elementos de servicio del panel con unidad suministradora de energía
eléctrica, 1, y el número de referencia 8 designa los elementos de
servicio de la pluma eléctrica 2.
Sin embargo, el panel con unidad suministradora
de energía eléctrica, 1, también puede presentar, tal como se
muestra en la Figura única, una conexión, mediante cable, 12, para
el accionamiento de la pluma eléctrica 2 (por medio de un cable
esterilizable).
Finalmente, el panel con la unidad suministradora
de energía eléctrica, 1, está también provisto con una conexión 11 a
la red, para recargar el acumulador,

Claims (11)
1. Dispositivo para el suministro de energía
eléctrica a una pluma eléctrica (2) con una unidad eléctrica de
accionamiento para el accionamiento de una herramienta, incluyendo
el dispositivo un panel con unidad suministradora de energía
eléctrica (1), que provee de energía eléctrica a la unidad eléctrica
de accionamiento de la pluma eléctrica (2),
- A)
- estando equipado el panel con unidad suministradora de energía eléctrica (1), con un acumulador (4);
- B)
- teniendo lugar la alimentación eléctrica del panel con la unidad suministradora de energía eléctrica (1) en la pluma eléctrica (2), sea mediante un cable esterilizable sea inductivamente sin enlace eléctrico, caracterizado porque
- C)
- el panel con unidad suministradora de energía eléctrica (1), está configurado de manera tal que puede ser esterilizado al vapor.
2. Dispositivo de acuerdo con la reivindicación
1, caracterizado porque sus componentes eléctricos y/o
electrónicos están configurados con una hermeticidad a los
fluidos.
3. Dispositivo de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1
ó 2, caracterizado porque el panel con la unidad
suministradora de energía eléctrica (1) está configurado
independiente de la red y es móvil.
4. Dispositivo de acuerdo con una cualquiera de
las reivindicaciones 1 a 4, caracterizado porque el panel con
la unidad suministradora de energía eléctrica (1) presenta una
conexión para la red (11) con el objeto de recargar el acumulador
(4).
5. Dispositivo de acuerdo con una cualquiera de
las reivindicaciones 1 a 4, caracterizado porque el panel con
unidad suministradora de energía eléctrica (1) presenta un cable de
conexión eléctrica (12) para su acoplamiento mediante un cable
esterilizable, a la pluma eléctrica (2).
6. Dispositivo de acuerdo con una cualquiera de
las reivindicaciones 1 a 5, caracterizado porque que el panel
y unidad suministradora de energía eléctrica (1) presenta un soporte
de sujeción (10), en el cual puede ser alojada la pluma eléctrica
(2) para su carga y en el cual puede establecerse localmente el
acoplamiento inductivo o eléctrico entre el panel y unidad
suministradora de la energía eléctrica, (1), con la pluma eléctrica
(2).
7. Dispositivo de acuerdo con una cualquiera de
las reivindicaciones 1 a 6, caracterizado porque que sea un
acumulador esterilizable sea un acumulador no esterilizable puede
ser introducido estérilmente con ayuda de un recubrimiento estéril,
en el panel y unidad suministradora de energía eléctrica (1).
8. Dispositivo de acuerdo con una cualquiera de
las reivindicaciones 1 a 7, caracterizado porque para la
carga del acumulador (4) se utiliza una parte o pieza para
conectarse a la red.
9. Dispositivo de acuerdo con una cualquiera de
las reivindicaciones 1 a 8, caracterizado porque el
dispositivo comprende una pluma eléctrica (2) y porque en la pluma
eléctrica (2) se halla alojado un acumulador de energía eléctrico,
preferiblemente un condensador o un acumulador, que puede ser
recargado por medio de un cable esterilizable o un acoplamiento
inductivo con una instalación correspondiente en el panel con unidad
suministradora de energía (1) del dispositivo, por medio de su
acumulador (4).
10. Dispositivo de acuerdo con una cualquiera de
las reivindicaciones 1 a 8 con una pluma eléctrica (2) de acuerdo
con la reivindicación 9, caracterizado porque para el
acoplamiento inductivo se han previsto uno o más transductores (6),
cada uno de los cuales tienen por lo menos una bobina, en el panel
con unidad suministradora de energía eléctrica (1) del dispositivo y
en la pluma eléctrica (2).
11. Dispositivo de acuerdo con una cualquiera de
las reivindicaciones 1 a 8 con una pluma eléctrica (2) de acuerdo
con la reivindicación 10, caracterizado porque para el
acoplamiento eléctrico se han previsto uno o más transductores (6)
con por lo menos dos contactos en el panel con unidad suministradora
de energía eléctrica (1) del dispositivo y en la pluma eléctrica
(2).
