Abstract

Procedimiento para la preparación de tetraciclina, que comprende cultivar Streptomyces BL 567201 en una solución acuosa de carbohidrato saturado de nutriente nitrogenado bajo condiciones aeróbicas sumergidas hasta comunicarle una actividad sustancialmente antibacteriana a dicha solución, y después recuperar la tetraciclina así producida por una precipitación alcalina o extracción del caldo de fermentación.
