Abstract
La briqueta está hecha de una mezcla que contiene del 85 hasta el 98% de materia de escoria del segundo tratamiento del aluminio, del 1 hasta el 8% de la materia es el acetato de polivinilo de dispersión como aglutinamiento polimérico y el resto está representado por agua; la forma más conveniente de la briqueta es la forma cilíndrica. La briqueta se obtiene de manera tal que, cada uno de los componentes de la argamasa se mezclan en la mezcladora hasta adquirir un estado homogéneo, seguidamente se prensa dándole una forma de briqueta, luego se pone a secar a una temperatura desde los 120 hasta los 200ºC hasta un contenido máximo del 1,5% del peso residual de agua en la briqueta. Durante el mezclado de los componentes para la briqueta en la mezcladora a un estado homogéneo, la mezcla automática y ventajosamente se calienta a una temperatura de los 25 hasta 99ºC.
