Abstract

Controlador a utilizar en un sistema de transacción automática de varias divisas, para facilitar una serie de elementos a una serie de precios correspondientes distintos, cuyo sistema comprende un selector de artículos de venta (90) para seleccionar un artículo de venta de un determinado precio y un dispensador (410) de artículos de venta destinado a dispensar el artículo de venta seleccionado; un dispositivo de validación de dinero (100, 110) que puede funcionar para determinar la aceptabilidad de valores de una moneda base y valores de, como mínimo, una moneda alternativa y, como mínimo, un dispositivo de pago de cambio (110) para facilitar el cambio en billetes de la divisa base; caracterizado porque el aparato controlador está adaptado para manipular una transacción de venta que comporta el pago, por lo menos en dos divisas distintas, y para funcionar a efectos de (a) determinar un valor de crédito que es la suma de (i) las cantidades de la moneda base que se han depositado y (ii) las cantidades de divisa alternativa depositadas convertidas en la divisa base aplicando una tasa de conversión predeterminada; (b) calcular la diferencia entre el precio del artículo de venta seleccionado y el valor de crédito y emitir una señal de dispensación si el valor del crédito es igual o superior al precio del artículo seleccionado; (c) redondear la diferencia entre el precio del artículo de venta seleccionado y el valor del crédito a un múltiplo del valor mínimo disponible como cambio y emitir señales para facilitar cambio que corresponde a la diferencia redondeada.
