Abstract

La invención se refiere a un cuerpo en nido de abeja (1) con una cara superior (2), una cara inferior (3), un primero (6) y un segundo lados delanteros, así como un primer rea (4) de borde lateral y un segundo rea (5) de borde lateral. El cuerpo en nido de abeja (1) tiene un rea en corte transversal aplanado y capas de chapa metálica enrolladas (7), que están, preferiblemente, ya revestidas con material catalíticamente activo. Al menos parte de las capas de chapa metálica (8.1, 8.2) está estructurada. Todas las capas de chapa metálica tienen, al menos, un primer rea de fijación (10) común, estando realizado el primer rea de fijación (10) común en el primer rea (4) de borde lateral. La invención trata, también, de un absorbedor de sonido y de un método para la fabricación de tal cuerpo en nido de abeja.
