- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.上側面(2)と、下側面(3)と、第1及び第2の端面(6、15)と、第 1及び第2の横側周辺部位(4、5)とを備え、平らな横断面領域と巻回された 板金層(7)とを有し、この板金層(7)が特に既に触媒活性材料(22)で被 覆され、板金層のうちの少なくとも一部(8、8.1、8.2、8.3、8.4 )が構造化されているハニカム体(1、1.1、1.2、1.3、1.4、1. 5、32、33)において、すべての板金層が、第1の横側周辺部位(4)に配 置されている第1の共通固定領域(10)を有していることを特徴とするハニカ ム体。 2.すべての板金層が少なくとも第1および第2の共通固定領域(10、11) を有し、その第1の共通固定領域(10)が第1の横側周辺領域(4)に、第2 の共通固定領域(11)が第2の横側周辺領域(5)に配置されていることを特 徴とする請求項1記載のハニカム体。 3.すべての板金層が点状部位(16)を形成する共通固定領域(10、11) を有していることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載のハニカム体。 4.すべての板金層が線(17)に沿って延びる共通固定領域(10、11)を 有していることを特徴とする請求項1ないし3のいずれか1つに記載のハニカム 体。 5.第1および第2の共通固定領域(10、11)がほぼ対向して位置している ことを特徴とする請求項2ないし4のいずれか1つに記載のハニカム体。 6.固定領域(10、11、16、17)において少なくとも板金層(7)の外 側面が隣接する板金層(7)の内側面に堅牢に結合されていることを特徴とする 請求項1ないし5のいずれか1つに記載のハニカム体。 7.固定領域(10、11、16、17)の範囲において構造化板金(8、8. 1、8.2、8.3、8.4)の構造化物が、少なくとも残りの平らな横断面形 状におけるそれよりも小さいことを特徴とする請求項1ないし6のいずれか1つ に記載のハニカム体。 8.ハニカム体(1.1、1.2、1.3、1.4、1.5、32、33)が、 板金層(7)の少なくとも一部がたわむことができるように層状に構成されてい ることを特徴とする請求項1ないし7のいずれか1つに記載のハニカム体。 9.ハニカム体(1、1.1、1.2、1.3、1.4、1.5、32、33) が、負荷を受けても形状を維持するように、巻回され、積層され、板金から及び /又は少なくとも一部をセラミックスから構成されていることを特徴とする請求 項1ないし8のいずれか1つに記載のハニカム体。 10.ハニカム体(1、1.1、1.2、1.3、1.4、1.5、32、33 )が、その少なくとも一部を補助的に固定するための手段(46)を有している ことを特徴とする請求項1ないし9のいずれか1つに記載のハニカム体。 11.第1の板金(9.3、8.3)が少なくとも部分的に第2の板金(8.4 、9.3)と共に板金層(7)を形成し、その第1の板金(9.3、8.3)が 第2の板金(8.4、9.3)より厚いことを特徴とする請求項1ないし10の いずれか1つに記載のハニカム体。 12.固定領域(10、11、16、17)が補強体(12)に支持されている ことを特徴とする請求項1ないし11のいずれか1つに記載のハニカム体。 13.ハニカム体(1、1.1、1.2、1.3、1.4、1.5、32、33 )の少なくとも一部が消音器(18)の壁(25)を形成していることを特徴と する請求項1ないし12のいずれか1つに記載のハニカム体。 14.ハニカム体(1、1.1、1.2、1.3、1.4、1.5、32、33 )の板金層(7)が排気装置(18)の壁(34、35、36)に付設されてい ることを特徴とする請求項1ないし13のいずれか1つに記載のハニカム体。 15.壁(25、34、35、36)及び/又は少なくとも板金層(7)が相対 的な位置決めをするための手段(37、38、39、40)を有していることを 特徴とする請求項13又は14記載のハニカム体。 16.少なくとも1つの板金層(7)が壁(34、35、36)の切欠き(38 )、歯(37)あるいは凹所(39、40)に固定されていることを特徴とする 請求項13ないし15のいずれか1つに記載のハニカム体。 17.ハニカム体(1、1.1、1.2、1.3、1.4、1.5、32、33 )が排気装置(18)の一部の構成部品であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし 16のいずれか1つに記載のハニカム体。 18.請求項1ないし17のいずれか1つに記載のハニカム体(1、1.1、1 .2、1.3、1.4、1.5、32、33)が内燃機関(19)特に小形エン ジンの排気装置(18)の空間(26、27)内に配置されることを特徴とする ハニカム体形触媒装置。 19.ハニカム体(1、1.1、1.2、1.3、1.4、1.5、32、33 )が排気装置(18)の消音器(21)に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1 8記載の触媒装置。 20.消音器(21)が請求項1ないし17のいずれか1つに記載のハニカム体 (1、1.1、1.2、1.3、1.4、1.5、32、33)を受けるための 手段を有していることを特徴とする内燃機関(19)、特に小形エンジンの排気 装置(18)用の消音器。 21.消音器(21)にハニカム体(1、1.1、1.2、1.3、1.4、1 .5、32、33)が一体に組み入れられていることを特徴とする請求項20記 載の消音器。 22.消音器(21)がハニカム体(1、1.1、1.2、1.3、1.4、1 .5、32、33)を固定するための手段(37、38、39、40、42)を 有していることを特徴とする請求項20又は21記載の消音器。 23.消音器(21)の一部が、請求項1ないし17のいずれか1つに記載のハ ニカム体(1、1.1、1.2、1.3、1.4、1.5、32、33)の少な くとも1つの板金層に係合するための手段(37、38、42)を有しているこ とを特徴とする請求項20ないし22のいずれか1つに記載の消音器。 24.特にハニカム体(1、1.1、1.2、1.3、1.4、1.5、32、 33)が配置される壁(34、35、36)に、歯(37)、切欠き(38)あ るいは隆起部(42)が存在していることを特徴とする請求項23記載の消音器 。 25.ハニカム体(1、1.1、1.2、1.3、1.4、1.5、32、33 )が交換可能に挿入されていることを特徴とする請求項20ないし24のいずれ か1つに記載の消音器。 26.消音器(21)の一部が請求項1ないし17のいずれか1つに記載のハニ カム体(1、1.1、1.2、1.3、1.4、1.5、32、33)に力、特 に締付け力を与えることを特徴とするハニカム体付きの消音器。 27.ハニカム体(1、1.1、1.2、1.3、1.4、1.5、32、33 )の一部が消音器(21)によって圧搾されていることを特徴とする請求項28 記載のハニカム体付き消音器。 28.空間を形成する上側殻(34)と下側殻(35)とを有するハウジングが 、その空間を2つの部分(26、27)に分割する壁(25)に対する受け部を 有し、この壁の周りに請求項1ないし17のいずれか1つに記載のハニカム体( 1、1.1、1.2、1.3、1.4、1.5、32、33)が配置されている ことを特徴とするハウジング。 29.消音器(21)であることを特徴とする請求項28記載のハウジング。 30.上側面(2)と、下側面(3)と、第1及び第2の端面(6、15)と、 第1及び第2の横側周辺部位(4、5)と備え、平らな横断面領域と巻回された 板金層(7)とを有し、板金層のうちの少なくとも一部(8、8.1、8.2、 8.3、8.4)が構造化されているハニカム体(1、1.1、1.2、1.3 、1.4、1.5、32、33)の製造方法において、 1.板金層(7)を形成する工程、 2.この板金層(7)をそれ自身の周りにあるいは補強体の周りに巻回する工程 、 3.横側周辺部位(4)を形成する工程、 4.請求項1ないし17のいずれか1つに記載のハニカム体(1、1.1、1. 2、1.3、1.4、1.5、32、33)に応じて第1の固定部位(10、 11)を形成する工程、 から成っていることを特徴とするハニカム体の製造方法。 31.板金層(7)がその巻回前にあるいは巻回後に触媒活性材料(22)で被 覆されることを特徴とする請求項30記載の方法。 32.固定領域(10)を備えた横側周辺部位(4)の形成が板金層(7)の変 形によって行われることを特徴とする請求項30又は31記載の方法。 33.第1の固定領域(10)が第1の横側周辺部位(4)に、第2の固定領域 (20)が第2の横側周辺部位(5)に作られることを特徴とする請求項30な いし32のいずれか1つに記載の方法。 34.第1および第2の固定領域(10、11)が、ハニカム体の製造後にほぼ 互いに対向して位置するように配置されることを特徴とする請求項33記載の方 法。
