Abstract

Un método para situar un cursor en una pantalla de presentación (13), bajo el control de un operador, que comprende la etapas de establecer un campo alrededor de una parte (R) de cuerpo desplazable del operador, percibir la intensidad del campo en posiciones predeterminadas en un cuadro de referencia fijo, para proporcionar por ello una variable de control correspondiente a la posición de la parte de cuerpo en el cuadro de referencia, y situar el cursor en la pantalla de presentación en respuesta a la variable de control, caracterizado porque la intensidad del campo es percibida de una manera sin contacto por electrodos (18.1, 20.1) de percepción de posición mutuamente perpendiculares que se extienden, respectivamente, a lo largo de los lados primero y segundo en la periferia de una región activa no obstruida por dichos electrodos, para proporcionar por ello una primera variable de control indicativa de la distancia, en unaprimera dirección (X), de dicha parte de cuerpo desde dicho primer lado, y una segunda variable de control indicativa de la distancia, en una segunda dirección (Y) perpendicular a dicha primera dirección, de dicha parte de cuerpo desde dicho segundo lado, siendo situado el cursor en respuesta a dichas variables de control primera y segunda por movimiento de dicha parte de cuerpo en dicha región activa.
