UNA PIEZA ALARGADA, DE MATERIAL COMPUESTO CON MATRIZ METALICA, COMPRENDE RESPECTIVAMENTE ENTRE UN 35 % Y UN 45 % EN VOLUMEN DE UNA MATRIZ DE ALEACION CON BASE DE ALUMINIO O DE MAGNESIO Y ENTRE UN 65 % Y UN 55 % EN VOLUMEN DE FIBRAS CONTINUAS DE CARBONO, DISPUESTAS EN CAPAS PARALELAS A SU LONGITUD. AL MENOS APROXIMADAMENTE UN 90 % DE LAS FIBRAS DE CARBONO SON FIBRAS CON UN MODULO ULTRA ALTO. EN ENTRE 25 % Y UN 60 % DE LAS CAPAS, ESTAS FIBRAS ESTAN ORIENTADAS A 0° +/- 5° RESPECTO A LA DIRECCION LONGITUDINAL DE LA PIEZA CUANDO LA MATRIZ ES CON BASE DE ALUMINIO. EN LAS OTRAS CAPAS, LAS FIBRAS ESTAN ENTONCES ORIENTADAS ENTRE +/- 20° Y +/- 40° RESPECTO A ESTA DIRECCION.
