Abstract
La invención se refiere a un procedimiento para fabricar material para cojinetes, el cojinete y el material del cojinete que tiene un material para cojinetes sobre un soporte resistente. El procedimiento incluye los pasos de formar una suspensión en agua de un fluoropolímero que tiene un contenido en sólidos comprendido entre 30-80% en volumen, 5 a 30% del volumen de una red formada con fibras fibriladas, y 5 a 40% en volumen de un material de relleno seleccionado entre al menos uno de los grupos que comprende: fibras inorgánicas; partículas de material inorgánico; fibras metálicas; polvos metálicos; fibras orgánicas; partículas de material orgánico; y agentes de refuerzo de la matriz orgánica, los materiales formadores de la red y del relleno son resistentes a temperaturas superiores a la del punto de fusión o a la temperatura de curado del fluoroplímero; depositar una capa de la suspensión en un sustrato de forma que drene el agua de la capa y se deposite una capa de forma que las fibras que forman la red forman una estructura que contiene al fluoropolímero y al material de relleno; y, calentar la capa depositada a una temperatura por encima del punto de fusión del fluoropolímero para producir el curado del fluoropolímero.
