Abstract

Procedimiento para la fabricación de un cable óptico (1) o de un elemento constructivo para un cable óptico, mediante el cual una banda metálica (5) extraída de una bobina de alimentación (4) se conforma gradualmente para obtener un tubo con una hendidura, introduciéndose al menos un conductor de ondas de luz (2) retirado de otra bobina de reserva en el tubo con hendidura todavía abierto, se cierra la hendidura longitudinal del tubo mediante soldadura y el tubo metálico soldado (3) se enrolla al menos con una vuelta alrededor de un disco cilíndrico (11), con lo cual se produce un exceso de longitud del de los conductores de ondas de luz (2) con respecto al tubo metálico (3) después de la soldadura, caracterizado porque el exceso de longitud se genera mediante la producción de acanaladuras o entallas en el tubo metálico (3) o por ondulaciones en el tubo metálico (3) tras el disco cilíndrico (11).
