Abstract

El aparato eléctrico de cocción comprende una parrilla (4) de soporte de los alimentos a cocinar, una resistencia eléctrica de calentamiento (6) que se extiende bajo la parrilla (4), un recipiente metálico (5) de recogida de los jugos de cocción dispuesto bajo la resistencia (6) y una base (30) de un material plástico que no soporta de manera continua el calor irradiado por la resistencia, para servir de soporte a la parrilla (4) a la resistencia (6) y al recipiente de recogida (5). La seguridad de funcionamiento del aparato está garantizada porque el recipiente (5) contiene, cuando el aparato está en servicio, una cierta cantidad de agua, la base (30) rodea la pared lateral (51) del recipiente y la periferia del fondo (50) del recipiente descansa directamente sobre uno o varios salientes formados en la base (30).
