LA INVENCION SE REFIERE A UN PROCEDIMIENTO DE ALUMINA PARA CERAMICA POR CALCINACION DE TRIHIDRATO DE ALUMINA EN PRESENCIA DE UN AGENTE DE MINERALIZACION TAL COMO UN COMPUESTO HALOGENADO Y/O COMPUESTO DE BORO, ESTANDO DICHA ALUMINA CONSTITUIDA DE AGLOMERADOS FRIABLES DE PARTICULAS ELEMENTALES O PEQUEÑOS CRISTALES DE ALUMINA ALFA CUYA DIMENSION MEDIA SE AJUSTA A L DEMANDA CON UNA DISTRIBUCION UNIMODAL CONFINADA DE LAS DIMENSIONES DE PEQUEÑOS CRISTALES CARACTERIZADO PORQUE LA CALCINACION EN HORNO INDUSTRIAL, BAJO ATMOSFERA OXIDANTE RENOVADA, DE LA CARGA DE TRIHIDRATO DE ALUMINA A UNA TEMPERATURA COMPRENDIDA ENTRO 800 C Y 1300 C DURANTE UNA DURACION DE 1/2 HORA A 4 HORAS SE EFECTUA EN PRESENCIA SIMULTANEAMENTE DE UN COMPUESTO HALOGENADO QUE HACE LAS VECES DE AGENTE DE MINERALIZACION Y DE UN MODIFICADOR DE RECRISTALIZACION DE LA ALUMINA, CON BASE DE SILICE, UNIFORME E INTIMAMENTE REPARTIDO EN LA CARGA DE TRIHIDRATO DE ALUMINA.
