SE REFIERE A UN PROCEDIMIENTO PARA TRATAR TERMICAMENTE EN ATMOSFERA OXIDICA Y FORMA FLUIDIZADA UN MINERAL DE ORO REFRACTARIO CON CONTENIDO DE PIRITA ARSENICA, PIRITA Y CARBON EN CANTIDADES NO SUFICIENTES PARA PRODUCIR EL CALOR DE REACCION NECESARIO, MEDIANTE ADICION DE UN COMBUSTIBLE DISTINTO A LA PIRITA Y AZUFRE; CARACTERIZADO POR: 1) DICHO MINERAL DE ORO REFRACTARIO CONTIENE ENTRE 0,01% Y 1% EN PESO DE PIRITA ARSENICA, ENTRE 1% Y 3,3% EN PESO DE PIRITA, ENTRE 0,02% Y 0,1% EN PESO DE CARBONO Y ENTRE 0.1% Y 5.0% EN PESO DE DOLOMITA Y/O CALIZA; Y 2) EFECTUAR EL TRATAMIENTO ANADIENDO UNA CANTIDAD DE AGUA O VAPOR DE AGUA SUFICIENTE PARA QUE EL CONTENIDO DE AGUA EN EL GAS DE SALIDA SEA ENTRE 10% Y 30%; DICHA AGUA O VAPOR DE AGUA PUEDE SER PARCIALMENTE SUSTITUIDA POR UNO O VARIOS HIDROCARBUROS, EN ESPECIAL QUEROSENO Y BENCINA.
