PARA DETERMINAR LAS CARACTERISTICAS DE COMPONENTES DE UN CANAL DE COMUNICACION, POR EJEMPLO, DE UN TRANSPONDEDOR DE UN SATELITE DE COMUNICACIONES, SE MODULA UNA SEÑAL F(T) PORTADORA LIMPIA CON UNA SEÑAL DE SEUDORRUIDO PN(T) Y SE TRANSMITE A TRAVES DEL CANAL DE COMUNICACIONES, A UN NIVEL INFERIOR AL NIVEL DE UNA SEÑAL DE CARGA UTIL QUE SE TRANSMITE SIMULTANEAMENTE A TRAVES DEL CANAL DE COMUNICACIONES. LA SEÑAL RECIBIDA S''(T) SE COMPARA CON LA MISMA SEÑAL DE SEUDORRUIDO PN(T) PARA OBTENER UNA SEÑAL PORTADORA RECUPERADA F(T). TANTO LA SEÑAL PORTADORA LIMPIA F''(T) COMO LA SEÑAL PORTADORA RECUPERADA F''(T) PUEDEN UTILIZARSE PARA DETERMINAR LAS CARACTERISTICAS DESEADAS.
