DICHA UNIDAD COMPRUEBA EL FUNCIONAMIENTO DE LOS SENSORES EN BASE A LAS SEÑALES QUE ESTOS LE ENVIAN POR LAS LINEAS DE SEÑAL. POR UNA DE LAS DOS LINEAS CIRCULA ADEMAS UNA SEÑAL PERIODICA DE PRUEBA, LO QUE PERMITE DETECTAR DE MANERA SENCILLA E INEQUIVOCA LA PRESENCIA DE CORTOCIRCUITOS Y DERIVACIONES ENTRE LAS SALIDAS DE LOS SENSORES O ENTRE LAS LINEAS DE SEÑAL.
