EL SISTEMA CONSISTE EN AÑADIR AL MENSAJE DE M BITS (M = M1 + M2 + M3) UNA ESTRUCTURA DE CONTROL DE K BITS DE MANERA QUE LA PALABRA FORMADA DE N = M + K BITS SEA UNA PALABRA DE CODIGO DE REDUNDANCIA CICLICA GENERADA POR UN POLINOMIO GENERADOR G(X) DE GRADO K Y DIVISOR DE X{SUP,N}-1 EN EL ALGEBRA MODULO 2 SIN RETENCION. EN LA LECTURA, EL SISTEMA PERMITE LOCALIZAR UN PAQUETE DE BITS ALTERADO DETECTANDO UNA ALTERACION MAGNETICA DE LA PISTA QUE NORMALMENTE NO HACE APARECER MAS QUE IMANES DE LONGITUD L{SUB,1} = L +/- L/2 Y L{SUB,2}= 2L +/-L/2 POR UNA PARTE, Y POR OTRA PARTE IMANES SUCESIVOS DE LONGITUD L{SUB,1} EN NUMERO PAR TENIENDO EN CUENTA EL CODIFICADO DE BI-FRECUENCIA UTILIZADO.
