Abstract

Procedimiento para la destilación de corta duración a temperatura elevada de un aceite residual líquido procedente del procesamiento de petróleo, betún natural o arena petrolífera, mezclándose el aceite residual con coque caliente, granulado como portador del calor (coque portador del calor) en un aparato mezclador, evaporándose entre un 60 y un 90 % en peso del aceite residual, convirtiéndose la parte no evaporada del aceite residual, que contiene los asfaltenos metalíferos, mezclada con el portador del calor en el aparato mezclador en vapor de aceite, gas y coque y retirándose los gases y vapores del aparato mezclador de forma separada del coque granulado, enfriándose los gases y vapores y generándose un aceite de productos como condensado, así como gas, y volviendo a calentarse el coque retirado del aparato mezclador, retornándose el mismo al aparato mezclador como portador del calor, caracterizado porque se mezcla el aceite residual líquido con coque portador del calor a una temperatura entre 500 y 700ºC en una relación de pesos de 1 : 3 a 1 : 30 en el aparato mezclador, porque al menos un 80 % en peso del coque portador del calor tiene un tamaño de los granos en el intervalo de 0,1 a 4 mm, porque mediante el proceso de mezcla se forma en primer lugar una película del residuo líquido en los granos del coque portador del calor, que se evapora en su mayor parte en el aparato mezclador a una temperatura de servicio lo más baja posible, en el intervalo de 450 a 600ºC, y porque la película del residuo líquido que permanece en el coque se convierte durante un tiempo de permanencia de 6 a 60 segundos en vapor de aceite, gas y coque, porque el coque retirado del aparato mezclador es seco, fluente y en su mayor parte exento de componentes líquidos y porque los gases y vapores formados se retiran después de un tiempo de permanencia de 0,5 a 5 segundos del aparato mezclador.
