Abstract

Inserto de corte para el mecanizado con arranque de viruta, preferentemente piezas de trabajo metálicas con por lo menos un filo de corte (12) que se extiende entre dos vértices de corte (10) a través de una superficie de arranque de viruta (14) y una superficie de incidencia (16), que presentan dos segmentos del filo de corte (20) sobresalientes formando un ángulo romo () en la zona de una punta (18) en forma de tejado, presentando la superficie de arranque de viruta (14) un elemento de arranque de viruta realzado, caracterizado por el hecho de que el elemento de arranque de viruta alcanza desde el interior de la superficie de arranque de viruta (14) hasta el lo de corte (12) y allí formando una punta en forma de tejado (18) se extiende parcialmente sobre los dos segmentos de lo de corte (20).
