Abstract

Procedimiento de hidrólisis enzimática de ésteres del ácido (3SR,4RS)-4-(4-fluorofenil)-6-oxopiperidin-3-carboxílico con biocatalizadores de lipasas o esterasas inmovilizadas. El procedimiento consiste en la hidrólisis enantioselectiva de una mezcla racémica de un éster del ácido(3SR,4RS)-4-(4-fluorofenil)- 6-oxopiperidin-3- carboxílico de fórmula (I), para obtener el ácido de fórmula (IIa) enantioméricamente puro o bien, el éster de fórmula (Ia), sin hidrolizar, enantioméricamente puro. Ambos compuestos de fórmula (IIa) y (Ia) son importantes intermedios en la síntesis de paroxetina. El procedimiento de hidrólisis se caracteriza porque se lleva a cabo en medios acuosos, en condiciones suaves de pH y temperatura, y por utilizar como catalizadores derivados de lipasas o esterasas de diferente origen obtenidos por inmovilización de las enzimas en distintos soportes.
