Abstract
Procedimiento de prevención de errores para multimedia que mejora la recuperación de datos y la capacidad de transferencia del canal en canales en los que se produce un error aleatorio y un error de ráfaga, utilizando un código convolucional pasante de velocidad compatible (RCPC) y una retransmisión automática bajo demanda (ARQ). En un proceso de decodificación de una pluralidad de paquetes de información dada, el procedimiento de prevención de errores incluye las etapas de a) decodificar un paquete de dicha pluralidad de paquetes, b) decodificar otro paquete cuando se produce un error durante dicha decodificación de dicha etapa a), c) decodificar una combinación de dichos paquetes de dichas etapas a) y b) o un tercer paquete, cuando se produce un error durante dicha decodificación en dicha etapa b), y d) repetir dicha etapa c) hasta que deje de producirse dicho error de decodificación. El procedimiento de prevención de errores tiene las características tanto del procedimiento de ARQ Tipo 1como del Tipo 2, por lo que es posible obtener una capacidad de transferencia de canal constante en el canal que contiene un error de ráfaga, el canal que contiene un error aleatorio y un canal en el que coexisten las dos formas de error simultáneamente.
