Abstract

Un aparato para tratar superficies curvadas, en particular una superficie de tubo, utilizando medios de tratamiento que son guiados sobre esa superficie a cierta distancia por encima de la misma por medio de una guía que ha de ser dispuesta previamente en esa superficie, en que la guía consiste en un cuerpo flexible provisto de dos bordes paralelos que se extienden cierta distancia por encima de la superficie que ha de ser tratada, y un portador para los medios de tratamiento está provisto de un sistema seguidor que consta de al menos tres miembros seguidores que están ordenados en triángulo y que cooperan con los bordes, todo ello de tal manera que el portador sigue la superficie curvada a una distancia fija durante el movimiento a lo largo de la guía, con lo que el tratamiento de la superficie puede ser realizado en condiciones uniformes, lo que mejora la precisión y, por tanto, la calidad.
