SE SEPARA EL ESTER DE ACIDO 3 O 4 FORMILVALERICO O SUS MEZCLAS DEL ESTER DE ACIDO 5 FORMILVALERICO EN UNA COLUMNA DE DESTILACION A UNA PRESION EN EL RANGO DE 2 A 100 MBAR Y UNA TEMPERATURA NO SUPERIOR A 150 C (MEDIDO COMO TEMPERATURA DE COLUMNA) Y SE ESTABLECE COMO ESTER LOS CORRESPONDIENTES METIL O ETILESTER.
