PARA TRATAR AGUA CONTAMINADA CON AGENTES QUIMICOS DE GUERRA CON UN CONTENIDO INFERIOR A 500 PPM DE SAL SE INTRODUCE NORMALMENTE UNA FASE DE SEPARACION (10) DESPUES DE LA OSMOSIS INVERSA. EN LA FASE DE SEPARACION, EL AGUA SIN TRATAR SE DIVIDE EN RETENTATO Y PERMEATO. LOS AGENTES QUIMICOS DE GUERRA PRESENTAN LA PROPIEDAD DE ACTUAR COMO ABLANDADORES DE LAS MEMBRANAS POLIMERICAS ORGANICAS SEMIPERMEABLES DE LAS FASES DE SEPARACION, POR LO QUE AL CABO DE VARIAS HORAS DE OPERACION LOS AGENTES QUIMICOS DE GUERRA VAN PASANDO EN CANTIDAD CRECIENTE A TRAVES DE LAS MEMBRANAS DE LAS FASES DE SEPARACION. PARA MEJORAR EL TRATAMIENTO DE LAS AGUAS CONTAMINADAS CON AGENTES QUIMICOS DE GUERRA AL AGUA SIN TRATAR SE LE AÑADE SAL HASTA OBTENER UN CONTENIDO DE SAL SUPERIOR A 1.000 PPM, Y SE LA HACE PASAR A TRAVES DE LA FASE DE SEPARACION (10) DESPUES DE LA FASE DE OSMOSIS INVERSA. LA INVENCION ESTA INDICADA PARA SU UTILIZACION EN INSTALACIONES MOVILES DE PRODUCCION DE AGUA POTABLE.
