SE PREPARA DIFLUOROMETANO MEDIANTE LA REACCION DE DICLOROMETANO Y FLUORURO DE HIDROGENO EN UNA FASE LIQUIDA EN PRESENCIA DE UN CATALIZADOR DE FLUORACION BAJO CONDICIONES DE REACCION EN EL CUAL LA PRESION DE REACCION ES ENTRE 1 Y 10 KG/CM{SUP,2}AB., Y LA TEMPERATURA DE REACCION ESTA ENTRE 50 Y 150 (GRADOS) C, CON TAL DE QUE LA TEMPERATURA DE REACCION SELECCIONADA SEA SUPERIOR A UNA TEMPERATURA A LA QUE EL FLUORURO DE HIDROGENO NO ESTE LICUADO BAJO LA PRESION DE REACCION SELECCIONADA.
