DEBIDO A LA APARICION TEMPRANA EN LA INFECCION Y SU NATURALEZA PARTICULAR, LA PROTEINA P55-GAG DEL NUCLEO DEL VIRUS PARECE SER UN CANDIDATO A VACUNA QUE PROMETE. LA EXPRESION P55-NUCLEO FUE ENSAYADA MEDIANTE UNA COMBINACION DE VACUNA Y VIRUS BACULO. EL VERTIDO DE LAS PARTICULAS DE NUCLEO 90-110 NM EN UN MEDIO DE CULTIVO FUE OBSERVADA EN AMBOS SISTEMAS DE EXPRESIONES Y PROBADOS MEDIANTE UN MICROSCOPIO DE ELECTRON DE SECCION ULTRADELGADA Y ANALISIS DE SEDIMENTACION.
