Abstract

Suela de plancha de ropa. Del tipo de las que están constituidas por una base (1) en la que se encuentra embutida una resistencia (2) y sobre la que se sitúa una placa (4) en la que previamente se ha depositado una capa de esmalte (5); esencialmente se caracteriza porque la placa (4) es de hierro laminado lo que permite que el curado del esmalte se realice a una elevada temperatura consiguiéndose una mayor dureza y un menor rozamiento en el deslizamiento. En esta placa se han depositado una o varias capas de esmalte. Para proteger la periferia del esmalte, la placa de hierro laminado (4) se aloja en un hueso que puede ocupar la mayor parte de la superficie de la base, o por el contrario solo se aloja en un canal (6) próximo a su periferia de forma que la placa de hierro laminado (4) presenta en su borde un ribeteado (7) que se introduce en el canal.
